Ordinary Life

Every day, every second, life reveals how stunning the absolutely ordinary human existence can be in attention. If we see exactly what’s in front of the senses we begin to notice colors, textures, sounds, depth, movement, and our own feelings generated by experience.

I find it interesting that there is so much struggle in humanity to become extra ordinary and special as social achievement. That may or may not happen depending on a billion or so events that influence the future. But as Emerson says, wisdom is about the experience of being miraculously, exquisitely, ordinary. The only ordinary perspective that will ever exist.
