What ever may or has happened, it’s not happening right now.
Of course the future and past are relevant, and we are set up genetically to scan, use imagination, explore possibilities, probabilities, and options. But, for me, the focus is on being in the proximity of where the body and breath reside, in these passing moments. It’s the only way I can use all of my resources to engage with what’s in front of me. I can’t know future, and right in these moments, I can only be a representation of my total past, never to be repeated. What I am engaged in, right in these moments, in typing these words, is the only reality I can possibly experience. Why not be here for it?
Take care of you and all you love,
Bryan Wagner
