Friends along the Way

Mary Grannon and I have been friends for a while now. She is a teacher at Still Mountain in Ann Arbor Michigan. Mary reports being in the Presbyterian Church as a child and engaged in Sunday school. At about fourteen she started questioning her relationship with the universe and her own spirituality and by college had drifted away her original roots. She was involved in a Unitarian Church for some time but finally settled on Deep Springs in Ann Arbor. She speaks highly of her time there and the amount of changes that took place in her reference frame.

She left Deep Springs and is a founding member of Still Mountain. She teaches there, and practices Insight Meditation. I find her open minded and with an open heart. She is the first interview in this series.

I think you will enjoy this discussion. She is very wise and has much to offer.
